Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born 12th December 1989 in Pennsylvania's West Reading. Swift has been a popular singer-songwriter and pop artist for the past 20 years. Her tales about young love and heartbreak have gained her widespread popularity throughout the 21st century. Swift started to exhibit an interest in the music industry from a very young age. Her career progressed rapidly beyond the roles of children's entertainers, and her debut public performance before a crowd of thousands. She was age 11 when she sang The Star-Spangled Banner before a basketball game for the Philadelphia 76ers. the following year she took up guitar and started writing songs. Inspiring herself by musicians from the country genre like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original material that reflected her experiences of being a tween and feeling alienated. Swift moved from Pennsylvania along with her parents in the state of Tennessee to Hendersonville when she was 13 years old to dedicate more time to wooing label labels for country music in Nashville.
