Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a member of SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011, was the founding co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. She also served in the SSC as the producer as well as a costume/set design composer/music director, and text-coach in addition to serving as Artistic Director. For her last year she worked as a lighting designer and director for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble but in this last year made her directorial debut.
